Drawing on his half-century of experience as a luthier, Dana and his team carefully select each old-growth Alaskan Sitka Spruce soundboard by hand before bracing it with Adirondack Spruce. The magic of the Touchstone Series comes from Dana’s renown system of hand-voicing. Over the last 50 years he has refined this old-world technique and is now recognized worldwide as a foremost authority on guitar-top voicing.
