What is an OM Hybrid?

The Boucher OM Hybrid is the result of the combination of certain measurements between a traditional OM-14 fret body-size and a traditional 000-14 fret body-size.

At the upper bout, our OM Hybrid has the body depth of the 000 body. At the lower bout, it has the depth of the OM body.

On top of that, the neck of our OM Hybrid has the nut width of a traditional OM (1-3/4'') and the neck width at the 12th fret is (2-1/8'') like a traditional 000-14 fret.

The scale length of our OM Hybrid is (long scale) 25.5'' to keep as much low-end frequency response as possible.

Robin Boucher designed the OM Hybrid in order to simplify the decision-making of consumers who are interested in a comfortable and nice sounding small body guitar.
